Associate Professor Ian Turner has cared for patients with gastroenterological and liver disorders in the Macarthur and Wollondilly areas since the 1990s.  He believes that practicing best care medicine (expertise, empathy, compassion, patient and family advocacy) results in positive patient outcomes.

 

Associate Professor Turner’s areas of interest include:

• Small and large polyp detection and removal

• Gastro-intestinal symptom analysis and treatment

Associate Professor Turner is Clinical Dean at Western Sydney University, Head of Department at Campbelltown Hospital, and also enjoys his private practice at his Macarthur Medical Specialists and Hyde Parade rooms.
